Role Purpose and Overview
The purpose of this role is to sell merchandise to our Light the Night participants and assist with registrations.
Direct reports/functions
Reports to: Community Supporters Coordinator
Accountabilities
Volunteers in this role may be required to complete some or all of the following requirements:

Assist with selling merchandise

Take donations and provide a receipt where required

Cash handling

Collecting receipt books and fundraising from participants

Register people and record details
-
Take donations and provide receipts.

Process payments using a cash register

Process card payments using an EFTPOS machine

Cash handling

Help pack down the event
Other Information
Attire
Please have a neat and tidy appearance Wear closed in, comfortable shoes (no heels) You will be given a high vis vest and a name badge If you are volunteering in the daytime, please wear a wide brim hat and sunscreen If you are volunteering in the evening, you may wish to bring along a light coat.
Meal details
Water and sandwiches will be available for all volunteers. Other food vendors will be available for purchase on the night.

We suggest you bring the minimum, as we cannot guarantee security.
