Role Purpose and Overview
The Leukaemia Foundation defines volunteers as people donating their time, free of charge, to the mission and objectives of the Foundation. Volunteers are engaged in work that, without their support, may not have been undertaken or completed. Volunteers are not used as alternatives to paid employment or to displace known budgeted positions. The contributions of all our volunteers are welcomed and their gift of time, skills and technical knowledge is highly valued. The purpose of this role is to assist the Event Manager with on-stage activities.
Direct reports/functions
Reports to: Community Supporters Coordinator.
Accountabilities
Volunteers in this role may be required to complete some or all of the following requirements: Act as the runner for the event manager Ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Attire
Please have a neat and tidy appearance Wear closed in, comfortable shoes (no heels) You will be given a high vis vest and a name badge If you are volunteering in the daytime, please wear a wide brim hat and sunscreen If you are volunteering in the evening, you may wish to bring along a light coat.
Meal details
Water and a sausage sizzle will be available for all volunteers. Vegetarian option available.
